Today we bring you Emma, an aspiring musician and young KJ who uses KaraFun for monthly pub gigs, private parties and local fundraisers. Over the past few years, she's been learning the tricks of the trade and let's you in on what she knows.
Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
Hi! My name is Emma, I’m 27 and live in Wagga Wagga, Australia.
How do you use KaraFun?
My partner and I run our own DJ/Karaoke business servicing our local area for public and private gigs.
Give us a couple of pointers to ensure an awesome karaoke party?
- Preparation is the key if using it professionally.
- Having a good internet connection helps a lot.
(Thankfully, there is KaraFun offline!)
Any pro tidbits that you might share that the average karaoke-er might not know about?
I recommend buying good audio cables as it makes a huge difference and minimizes sound feedback.
What feature on KaraFun do you use the most? Why?
Background vocals. It helps our karaoke-ers sound awesome!
What three songs always get the party going?
Which song should be avoided like the plague?
"Chandelier" as made famous by
Sia, I don't think this needs further explanation :)
What would you say to the naysayers and the fearful, unwilling to try KaraFun?
Whether you want to use it professionally or just for a bit of fun, KaraFun has the largest catalog and includes so many new songs that are on the charts, it is always a hit with our karaoke-ers!
