Hosting karaoke should be fun, not a juggling act. As a Pro user, you want everyone to get their turn without constant queue management.
That’s why Singer Rotation, automates the queue, ensuring a fair and seamless experience. No more manual updates—just a smooth, balanced karaoke session for all.

What is Singer Rotation?
Imagine you’re hosting a karaoke night, and you want to give every guest the opportunity to sing. Without an automated system, you’d have to constantly reorder the queue and track who has already performed.
With Singer Rotation, the app automatically organizes and updates the queue to ensure everyone sings fairly and regularly throughout the session.
Here’s how it works:
- Automatic Queue Updates – The queue self-adjusts to give everyone a turn.
- No More Manual Adjustments – You don’t need to track who’s up next; the system does it for you.
- Smoother Karaoke Sessions – No one gets left out, and you can focus on enjoying the night.
How to Activate Singer Rotation
Singer Rotation is an optional feature, disabled by default, and exclusive to desktop devices. Here’s how to enable it and start using it:
- Select the Singer Rotation mode from the picker in the queue bar title.
- Existing queue items will automatically be grouped under an Unassigned Group for a smooth transition.
Once activated, you can switch between two views:
- Singer Rotation View – organizes singers into groups and manages turns automatically.
- Classic Queue View – keeps the usual queue format but reorders songs accordingly.
How the Queue Works with Singer Rotation
With Singer Rotation enabled, a group-based queue system takes over:
- Singers are placed in groups – You can assign songs to groups, ensuring a balanced rotation.
- The queue prioritizes fairness in rounds – Singers who haven’t performed in the current round will be scheduled before those who have already sung, but this won’t interrupt the currently playing song.
- Quizzes can only be added to the Unassigned Group – When Singer Rotation is enabled, quizzes must be placed in the Unassigned Group and will be played only after an existing queue item.
Need to make adjustments? You can still move songs between groups or reorder within a group while letting the system handle the overall queue balance.
How the Remote Works with Singer Rotation
Singer Rotation makes it even easier for singers to manage their songs using the Remote feature. Here’s how it works:
- Each singer scans the QR code with their phone, enters their name, and starts adding songs to the queue.
- On their Remote, each singer or group will only see the songs they’ve added—keeping things simple and personalized.
- When multiple singers are using the Remote, Singer Rotation will automatically alternate turns. For example, if Singer A and Singer B both add songs, the system ensures a fair rotation: one song from Singer A, then one from Singer B, and so on.
- Manual groups and Remote users are rotated together, meaning both systems work seamlessly to ensure fairness for all.
This integration ensures that everyone gets their turn without manual reordering—so just pick your favorite songs and sing!
Why You’ll Love It
With hands-free queue management, you can focus on enjoying the session instead of constantly updating the list. Everyone gets a fair turn, ensuring no one is left out and every singer has a chance to shine. Whether you’re hosting karaoke at a bar or a private event, this feature keeps everything organized for a smooth and stress-free experience.
